The idea of the event is to officially highlight the work of those Genoese people who are not so much known in Genoa but have an acknowledgement of their activities on a worldwide scale. It is a public event within “Genova Spettacolare” activities during which several creative industry actors will be acknowledged. They are chosen by a jury on the bases of a computer based system of report through which the creative industry stakeholders have the possibility to recommend someone. During the event they will be able to present the works for which they were rewarded and have a discussion with the public. Due to the success of the first edition in 2012 the “Ripremio” event was established as annual event. The second edition will take place on 12th
October 2013 when the Major of the city of Genoa will reward the selected artists.
