The second Partner Meeting of CREATIVE CITIES project will be held within the public Opening Conference on 28 & 29 June 2010 in Pécs, Hungary.

Participants will have opportunity to listen to the speech of Mr. Xavier Troussard - European Commissioner on the Green Paper titled „Unlocking the potential of cultural and creative industries” and Mr. Tamás Síkfői, Secretary of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Pécs-Baranya on the state of the Creative Industries in the South Transdanubian Region.

Moreover, the conference attendees will take a deeper look into one of the creative industry sector - Film and soundtrack industry during the Panel Discussion with János Keresnyei, Vice President of the South-Transdanubian Cultural Industry Cluster and all will be invited to learn about the creative industries from a researcher’s perspective.

There will be also possibility to discover creative industry in project partners’ cities through „Poster Exhibition” and speak directly with the different creative protagonists from partner cities about their creative work. One of the project partner - City of Pécs will talk about Creative Industries with regards to the European initiative - Pécs as the European Capital of Culture 2010.
The second day will bring many occasions to take part actively in various workshops
unleashing our creativity.
